Coalition Updates:

PAHRC launched our TOP campaign and held our first seminar
The Treatment Overdose Prevention Campaign is a partnership between state and county substance use disorder treatment facilities and public health departments. On September 12th we held our first TOP seminar, which was a huge success - 30 treatment professionals learned how to better center patient safety in the treatment process. Thank you to those who attended and thank you to our partners, Caron Treatment Centers and Philadelphia Department of Public Health, for making this event possible!

UPCOMING: A Safety First Approach to the Overdose Epidemic Conference
Our statewide conference is quickly approaching! Advocates, clinicians, professionals, and community leaders will be coming together for a 2-day statewide conference on October 28th and 29th in Harrisburg to discuss cutting edge research and evidence-based solutions to the overdose epidemic. Announcements:

Naloxone Day in PA Giveaway Locations
Naloxone kits will be distributed for free at 95 locations on September 18 & 25. If you missed your chance to pickup your free Naloxone on September 18th, mark your calendars for the second day on September 25th and find your nearest location here!

Happy National Recovery Month!
September is National Recovery Month, celebrating recovery month to PAHRC means celebrating the multiple pathways of recovery. To celebrate on September 24, our team will be at the 5th Annual Courage to Change Recovery Advocacy Day. Join us!
